Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras Tuxedo Rentals in New Iberia, LA
Ball season is our busiest stretch of the year. We rent black tie, white tie and tails, and everything a krewe’s dress code is likely to ask for — for members, for court, and for the guests who found out last week that the invitation said formal.
Iberia Parish keeps its own ball calendar, and the New Iberia store on East Admiral Doyle dresses a good share of it. Guests coming in from Jeanerette, Loreauville and St. Martinville can be fitted here in one visit.
Walk-ins welcome — no appointment needed for anything we do in store.
What you get
What the rental includes
Black tie, white tie and tails
Whatever the invitation says. If your krewe has a dress code, read it to us and we will put the right thing in front of you.
Shirt, tie, vest and pocket square included
Rent the jacket and pants together and those four come with it. Shoes and the damage waiver are the only add-ons, and you see the total before anyone pays.
Ball season stock
We carry depth through the season rather than one of each. Coming in early still means more choice — the tails go first every year.
Walk-ins welcome
No appointment for anything we do in store — browsing, measuring, a fitting or pickup. Call ahead only if you want a stylist held for a big group.
Alterations in house
Hemming and adjustments happen at the store, not at a vendor three states away, so a fix before your date is a fix, not a gamble.
Guests welcome, not just members
You do not have to belong to the krewe. A lot of what we rent in January goes to people invited to somebody else’s ball.

Serving Iberia Parish and around
The New Iberia store on East Admiral Doyle Drive looks after Jeanerette, Loreauville, Delcambre, St. Martinville, Abbeville and Franklin as well as New Iberia itself. If part of your group is closer to another of our stores, they can be measured there instead — it stays one order either way.

All three stores →When should I rent for a Mardi Gras ball?
Before the season starts if you can — the season is short and everyone in the parish needs the same thing in the same three weeks. White tie and tails in particular sell out first.
Do you carry white tie and tails?
Yes. Ball season is the reason we carry them at all. Bring the invitation if the dress code is worded oddly and we will tell you what it actually means.
What is included in the rental?
Jacket and pants together include the shirt, tie, vest and pocket square. Shoes and the damage waiver are add-ons.
Do I need to be in a krewe?
No. We rent to anyone going to a ball, a parade or a party, member or guest.
Can a group of us rent together?
Yes — krewe groups renting together is normal here. Call the store ahead if there are more than a handful of you and we will make sure someone is free.
Do you serve the towns around New Iberia?
Yes — the New Iberia store covers Iberia Parish and the towns around it, including Jeanerette, Loreauville, Delcambre, St. Martinville, Abbeville and Franklin. And if another of our stores is closer to part of your group, they can be measured there instead and it stays one order.
